Hitting / Mining / slashing ?
Hey guys,
I've been doing some work in Unity. And got some pretty cool projects to start with. I'm making a simple first person shooter type of game.
I've been trying to figure out how to make a '' slash '' type of script. Let's say, the player is holding a melee weapon. And i want it to slash, how would i tackle this?
For the animation, i've never looked into this, so i won't know when or how to do it.
For the hit, i was thinking of spawning an invisible object infront of the player as soon as the player swings the melee weapon.
If you guys could guide me down the road here and give me some advice it would be awesome!
