How to stop a player from entering a trigger
I'm working on a 2D game where the player can move onto ground of different elevations and change their elevation to the same as the ground the player entered. This is done via triggers for the ground and a trigger on the player.
The player also has another trigger called the pushbox which is supposed to check if the player's elevation is too low compared to the ground trigger they are entering. If they are too low compared to the ground trigger's elevation, then the player should be unable to move into this trigger.
The height system itself is already handled, through myself and some help from previous answers but probably isn't necessary to show for brevity. If you need to know how it works, ask.
