(Virtual reality) Collision fighting when tunneling - Any ideas? (gif included)
I am creating a virtual reality game and am trying to make it so that a sword or item can be run along the surface of things, however the collisions go crazy when the item is trying to tunnel inside. I have tried puting up the CCD But it is still doing it. I am wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what I could try in order to solve tthis.
Ideally the sword should just stay smoothly on the outside of the wall even if the player is trying to put collider inside it.

This game is made in unity so I’m sure it’s possible to resolve this somehow. This is the sort of collision I’m ultimately ai$$anonymous$$g to make.
Been trying to make the interaction between sword and colliders done with joints, springs and hinges. But to no avail.
