Trying to use Mechanim Root Motion for 2d.
I'm having trouble getting root motion to work for 2d animation in mech anim. I have an animation clip that displaces a sprite 1 unit, when the animation state changes back to idle (that has no animation clip on it), the sprite jumps back to the original position. I would expect root motion to keep the displacement on the sprite transform from the non idle state. Does anyone have any insights in how to use this?
