FBX Import Distorts Model (From Blender 2.6)
Hi all, here's a screen shot of the distortion I'm getting when exporting as fbx.
The model on the left is the "proper" one and the one on the right is distorted. The left is a .obj and the right is .fbx both exported from blender. Now, I'm not sure why I'm getting the distortion. Animations don't seem to come with the .obj so I kind of need to do it as fbx (correct me if I'm wrong). I'm learning modelling/animating on my own time right now I don't really know if I'm doing something completely wrong etc. Not really sure if this is a unity problem or just blender--any help would be appreciated though. And, be gentle on the model, it's my first character :p
EDIT: Found out that if I don't import the animations there is no distortion, hope that helps some.

Ok, so I found some help elsewhere. http://jmonkeyengine.org/groups/import-assets/forum/topic/animations-are-distorted/
What I need to do was apply my scale and rotations first. It took me awhile to figure in blender 2.6, but the 'ol search feature helped me find it. That solved the problem. Anyway, hope this can help people.
