How can I create clothes?

I dont know how can I create clothes. I am new into Unity, I am working with Unity 5. Should I use Blender to create the clothes? But then, how can I do to make my character wear the clothes o the weapons? Or, how I male him change then? This should be may be pretty easy questions for some people but I am new. Please help, thank you.
