Unity Crash on Startup NTDLL - NEED HELP!
Unity Crashes on startup. NTDLL is the problem. I'm using Win 8.1 & Unity 5. I've noticed people have had this problem many times over the years (w/ different Win & Unity versions), yet it remains an unresolved issue.
Tried uninstalling & reinstalling UNITY & Nvidia Drivers, adding "-force-d3d11", "-force-opengl", "-force-d3d9" and other suggestions, but nothing works. Need official answers on issues like this.

I experience the same issues. I have narrowed it down to using the Direct3D11 API in Unity as you mentioned but switching to OpenGL or DX9 gets past this error (for now). Are you working on a project migrated over from Unity3|4 by any chance?
Oddly, it was also working for a day or two but after a couple changes to some post effects settings this error kicked off. Very frustrating.
EDIT: I created a new project and moved over all the old assets and it worked great... right up until I tried to change the player graphics API. The new project is buggered with NTDLL/c0000005 crashes.
