How to load symbols for external managed DLLs?
Hi,
When I try to add symbols of a managed DLL in Visual Studio nothing happens. I just get this window for a couple of seconds but the symbols stay unloaded:
Debugging the code that belongs to the Unity project works just fine though.
Things I've tried so far:
Turning off Just My Code
Placing the generated testdll2.pdb file in Assets\Plugins\Win64 next to testdll2.dll
Adding my VS build directory (with all .pdb's) to Visual Studio's Symbol locations list
Is this a known problem or something specific to my setup?
System specs:
Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bit
Microsoft Visual Studio 2015, Version 14.0.25431.01 Update 3, .NET 4.7.02046
Unity 5.6.1f1 Personal Edition
