Real World Compass Heading Information In Stand Alone Player

I keep finding lots of information related to use of a Real World compass in Android and I Phone app scenarios but is it possible to do this using the Stand Alone Player as a build for your app?

Specifically to be able to read if you were moving in either N W S E directions and then be able to make an arrow flash on a UI canvas based on that data input, on a Stand Alone Player Build

How is your PC moving East? $$anonymous$$ine would only make it about a metre before tugging its own cable out of the power socket....
