Gizmo Boolean Modification (Orientated Bounding Box's)
Wording if I can get some help here as I am quite stuck.
I am working on a bounds system for a VR game. Simple idea is that I generate a simple "imaginary" cuboid (I just store the 8 corners) and check in the camera is inside it, I also have "Cut Out" bounds that allows me to make "holes" in the cuboid to allow it to fit round more complex shapes. This all works just fine.
What I need to do now is create Gizmo's to display all this in the scene. Atm I draw the cuboid's and if they are a cutout I just give it a red colour. What I need it to do is that the cutout bounds are not shown but they literally effect the normal bound gizmo's like a subtract boolean modification.
Is there an easy way to calculate intersection and get each corner and also draw the gizmo after will that chunk taken out? I am afraid I just don't know where to start.
Thanks in advance.
