Problem with creating a Script that let a Object follow my mouse cursor(3D)
Hello out there ;)
I am trying to create a script that allows my spaceship to follow my mouse cursor when I accelerate it.
So it should always lookAt my mouse cursor or, if I move the mouse cursor away, it should rotate towards the mouse cursor with a speed variable (speed * Time.deltaTime).
I am not that good in programming (I am learning 3D Artist) so I tried for days now. While I fixed a lot of other problems with my game, this problem still remains.
I found so many possible solutions on the web, but no one work because I am too bad to use them for my problem or they aren't doing what I want.
I want my Camera to follow my Spaceship from behind and up (so -z and +y axis position), and from this my ship should follow the mouse cursor.
I really hope someone can help me with my problem here. Maybe for you this is a easy one, for me it isn't. :(
