Problems with System.ValueTuple and the universal render pipeline

After updating my project's unity version from 2019.4.14f to 2020.3.1f I am having trouble with Tuples relating to the universal render pipeline package. Updating the package did not fix the issue. Uninstalling the package does fix the issue but I need it for the project.
