How to light everything in a range from all directions
I have a flame effect that is placed when a bullet hits a spaceship, at the exact spot where it collides. I also have a light attached to this effect to simulate the glowing metal, so I want it to light everything within the specified range, even if those things face away from the light. How can I achieve this effect?

I'm an amateur lighting since I use very little of it in what I do with Unity, but you could just turn off backface culling in the shader you use on the materials around your flame. Or you could identify those things within range and change the shader to an unlit shader.
