do you need to have a company to sell 3d models on the unity store?
do you need to have a company to sell 3d models on the unity store or can you sell as a hobbyist without paying tax to the government?
don't want the government to arrest me for tax evasion or somthing
That's two questions. I'm pretty sure you have to report and pay tax on all earnings. But, in the US, you can check the IRS web site. For the second Q, you should be able to easily look up how to put stuff on the Asset Store -- or just look at other sellers.
Just out of curiosity, did you mean to write "arrest me or something" or is it really "tax evasion or something," because you're planning on committing other crimes? You know what ... best not to answer that.
Lol, thanks for the reply, and what i meant was i didn't want to sell stuff on the asset store, and then get a letter in the mail saying that i needed to pay tax on the models that I've sold.
Although I thought there were a lot of people who just sell 3D models on the unity store as a hobby and only have to pay the 30% to unity and keep the other 70%, that's what I thought anyway
