Avoid enemy sprite overlapping
Hello everyone, I've been programming some enemy AI, but I have this issue that I have no idea how to solve. Basically, the enemy AI works and everything, but in some cases they all just overlap each other and look like one solid sprite that instakills you (as all the enemies are one on top another). Can someone give me an idea or something? I'm not that familiar to how basic 2D game mechanics should be, as up to now I have always worked in the 3D environment.
PS: I'm not asking for code to have things already done, I already tried pulling off some possible solutions with no luck.
Thanks in advance :)

you mean you want to un-overlap enemy, i suggest you use path finding for them :D for example use A*
Oh right.. lol, I'll look into it. if I will be able to solve all my issues with path finding I'll mark this question as answered
