Text Animation is always stay behind the Default canvas

Hello All,

I am working on a game project and purchased a text animation asset from Unity asset store. My problem is that, my text animation prefab always stay behind default game canvas. I re-arranged my canvases in hierarcy, use different layers(custom layer) but the problem is still exists. Do you have any idea to re-arrange canvas or my text animation prefab?

Thank you.

Have you tried to tweak z-position value?

Hello $$anonymous$$ristian,

With your suggestion, I tried it but the issue seems still same. In attachment I am sharing my hierarcy. $$anonymous$$ain camera Z is -10, Canvas is Default 0. In Canvas; Image Z is 0, TextAnim Z is -5. Canvas scale mode is "Scale with screen size", Image is used as Background image and image scale with "set native size" option.

Thank you.

Hello Kristian,

Yes I can see Text in scene view if I disable Image object. And one more thing, if I change transparency of image object, I can also see text. I cannot take text object in front of Image. Below, you can see screenshots.

Thank you.

Thanks but please one more thing - screenshot of the Inspector when the Text is selected. Can you also see that Text in the Game View when the Image is disabled? Also try to put some simple Image, maybe red quad or something below that "Egg" Image when it is enabled. I noticed that that "Egg" Image is fullscreen-image so it looks like it hides that Text below. Are you using some special material on your UI or Default one? Because Default-UI material ignores z-position values. So what comes last covers everythig below. Also full-inspector screenshot of that "Egg" Image would be great.

Put the text on layer 1.
