physic material bounciness help
Hello, i have an issue with the 3d physic material with bounciness. when i have bounciness set to 1 and have bounce combine set to maximum, it continually bounces higher than what the original height of the object was.
here's a video for what i am talking about: Video
basically i want the ball to bounce up to the same height as it started. i have an alternate option script with a line of code(which is currently commented out) that has a similar effect:
// transform.position += Vector3.up * Time.deltaTime * verticalMovementSpeed;
however i want to use the bouncing feature of the physic material so if the ball object i have goes on a slanted platform, it bounces down the platform or you can have it bounce off walls. with this code, it only "bounces" straight up and down even on slopes.
