Convert Rigidbody code to CharacterController usable
I am trying to set up a Character with CharacterController rather than with the older Rigidbody with capsule.
I am wanting to have the controls from (or same as) the 3rd person adventure setup from the Unity assets. But as they are for the Rigidbody setup, I have not been able to make them work for my character.
I have looked around for examples, but everyone seems to use the Rigidbody still rather than the new CharacterController.
Can someone assist me in a solution please.
I am open to being convinced that I might as well use the Rigidbody setup, but why have the CharacterController if it is not needed? Is it not an improvement?
