Textured floor like in dont starve
Hello! Im wondering, how to create the same floor with multiple textures on it like it is done in Dont Starve?
So in Dont Starve we have billboarded sprites that are walking on plane. But is this plane has some texture on it? But this way we wont be able to reach effect of multiple textures, like grass becomes sand and so on? Maybe it is terrain with painted textures?
