Editor Style permanently changed, how to change back?
A few weeks ago, I was messing around with editor styles (I wanted to use them for a custom editor) and I managed to accidentally change the background for things like Hierarchy and Project windows.
I thought the issue would only affect the project I had loaded at the time, but it appears that it affects all projects. In fact, even when I uninstall and reinstall Unity, the problem persists. I thought perhaps editor styles were cached in appdata, but when I deleted temp data in the various sub-directories, there was still no change.
I also tried resetting colors in Edit > Preferences, but no luck.
Does anyone know where I need to go to reset Unity editor styles?
That's very unlikely. The built-in editor resources can't be changed permanentally. You can alter the styles that are loaded in memory but after a restart of Unity those styles would be reloaded from the internal, readonly resources.
What kind of changes are you talking about? Do you have screen shots?
Pretty much all editor resources are stored in a single resource file ("unity editor resources") which is located here:
C:\Program Files\Unity\Editor\Data\Resources\
However when you reinstall Unity it should be restored in case it got corrupted.
Perhaps this issue has something to do with my computer environment. I switched from a PC to a $$anonymous$$acBook Pro a month ago, and I'm running Windows 10 inside of Parallels.

Hello!
I did this mistake too... The result of my experiments was the changing of all the help boxes of Unity. But here I found a solution that worked for me. What you need to do is the following (I show as an example the modification of the background on the help box of Unity):
EditorStyles.helpBox.normal = null;
EditorStyles.helpBox.active = null;
EditorStyles.helpBox.focused = null;
EditorStyles.helpBox.hover = null;
Then restart the Unity editor and everything should be normal!
Good luck on the path!
