Multiplayer Room?
Hi, I'm making a multiplayer game, and I want players to play against eachother in different "rooms", so that all players are connected to the same server , but have different game instances. Is such a thing possible to do? and if so, how?
thank you.

Yes, this is possible it can be implemented server-side using something like this example which uses SmartfoxServer to achieve what you need.

You can implement something like this yourself but this way is far easier.

I'd recommend you use AppWarp S2 for this. It comes with a free license of 500 CCUs and also has support for Unity Free (doesn't require Pro). The concepts of rooms and lobbies are already there. You can extend them with the use of Adaptors if you want.
AppWarp cloud also offers a multiplayer solution with rooms and lobbies. The good thing about this is that you don't have to code or host any server side component. You just work within your Unity Editor and all the communication is taken care by the cloud (over TCP and UDP).
Also the sites have detailed Unity client samples which illustrate the integration and help you to get started easily.
