Unable to compile on Ubuntu 16.04, Error: Running without the SUID sandbox!
I am on Ubuntu 16.04 and I downloaded Unity from https://forum.unity3d.com/threads/unity-on-linux-release-notes-and-known-issues.350256/ with the latest Build #20170511.
I installed Unity via sudo dpkg -i unity-editor_amd64-5.6.1xf1Linux.deb
and when I run my code with
/opt/Unity/Editor/Unity -batchmode -quit -nographics -executeMethod HVREditorScript.PerformLinux64Build
It shows the error
[0519/010731:ERROR:browser_main_loop.cc(161)] Running without the SUID sandbox! See https://code.google.com/p/chromium/wiki/LinuxSUIDSandboxDevelopment for more information on developing with the sandbox on.
I tried the suggestion mentioned in https://forum.unity3d.com/threads/dark-grey-screen-fix.448936/ but it doesn't work. How can I compile my code on Unity?
