Generating Random Terrain for Planets which includes features like craters

I'm a bit on the beginner side but i can get my head around most of unity. I'm currently making a star system exploration game and need random terrain with some features like craters and cracks. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

I would highly recommend you to learn about meshes and procedural terrains before you actually start on working on something like this. This is not a thing that can be done by a few lines of code, its a very complex thing which you wont be able to do before you really understand how mesh terrains work. However there is a possibility to look for some premade terrains in the assets store but I doubt they will be for free...

Unless you can switch this to something more specific, it will be closed as there's quite a few levels of depth to this.
