How do I add unique effects to scriptable-object-based abilities?
I've read and watched quite a few tutorials on using Scriptable Objects, a couple of which covered how to make ability systems with them. One thing they never went over, however, is how to assign customizable effects to those abilities.
Let's say that I have one ability called Maragi that does fire damage to all enemies. How would I go about adding that effect to the Scriptable Object it's in, so I don't have to write some MonoBehaviour to give it that effect?
I am using C# with Unity 5.6.2f1.
