Why is my font rendering incorrectly on Android
HI,
I have an app out on the play store, which during test exhibited no problems with the fonts, however we've had a report and screenshot of a user with an Android device not rendering the font correctly.
The text that renders correctly there is a bitmap image, the coloured rectangles are the font displaying incorrectly.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Graeme.

I had such cases also on older devices and no idea what caused this.
However, as a workaround you could try to switch all your texts to TextmeshPro (requires unity 5.6).
Thanks! I'll give that a try. We're on 5.6 already.
It turns out that it's not persistent if the user shuts down the app and reloads, however for most I'd imagine the damage will be done, and they'd be unlikely to try the app again, so that doesn't make things much better.
@graeme_laws did you try this out. Did it help ?
@jainsid Hi, no we never managed to confirm a fix, as we lost contact with the user that had the issue, and no-one has reported it since. We didn't move to a TextmeshPro, although we have upgraded to later versions of Unity, so maybe that had an effect. Sorry it's not more conclusive!

I know that I'm not helping @graeme_laws because he probably has solved his problem long time ago, but just in case someone will be looking for solution of this problem.
Checking on "Incl. Font Data" was solution in my case.
