How to calculate force applied to gameObject?
Hi everyone,
I am trying to create a Building Simulator in Unity (C#). I'm essentially trying to determine if a stone roof could stand by itself (I'm an archaeologist), and part of that is determining if the lower upright stone walls can withstand the weight of the overall roof.
I am trying to get the overall strain on each stone, but am having troubles with the rigidbody, as I can only really access the velocity, which will be close to 0 for each of the stones. I need a way to calculate the force applied not just at collision, but when it actually settles.
Any suggestion on how to approach this?
