Reference for fps bow shooting?

Hey, i want to to create a first person archery (including hands). Is there any reference for this out there? I want to know where i need IK and where i need standard animations. For example: do i need to parent the hand to the bows string to "pull it back".

Any reference would be great!

I don't know of any reference to this.

Essentially you want the bow to be parented to the hand - however you prefer to do this is up to you. Then on the bow string there will be a empty game object initially parented to the bow or the hand holding the bow.

When the shooting animation plays, the empty game object will switch parents to the other hand at the appropriate time. This switch will be handled in code.

I took us 12 hours to develop a complete fps bow system (with custom animations, string draw and arrow shooting) but it works fine! Thank you for response. That was the way we developed it anyway :)
