Sharing fly through video advice
Hi peeps,
Im after some advice, i want to share a fly through of a level via youtube to Facebook. My plan so far is to have my app (iOS/Android) send an array of vectors (fly through path) to a copy of unity on a server. The version on the server will then play the fly through and screen capture it to make a video, the reason for recording on the server side is that this version has a higher quality version of the level than what appears on the app. I was hoping I could return a url from the server to the user which has posted the video to youtube which they can then share on Facebook. It will obviously take some time to return the url so will have to be passed back to the user at a later point.
I am wondering does this sound like a horrible idea or if someone knows a better solution?
Thanks Lando
I'd just capture my Game window with Fraps. Put it on High Quality in your editor and than run and record. Afterwards you can easily upload your video towards Youtube and share it across facebook accordingly.
Thanks for you comment but its for an automated process for users to specify there fly through path
