Animation Translation
I am trying to learn how to transfer animation from After Effects into Unity. My ideas involve triggering animation when a game object is touched (like when your finger presses it, im sure there is a technical term sorry for my lack of jargon).
So, ideally I would like to have a scene automatically a static image of a square. It holds there for about 2 seconds. Then the square starts to animate by going all over the screen via keyframes (hopefully) and then finishes animating. Once its done animating i would like it to stay static. It would be pressable and if pressed it would take you to another scene.
Could anyone help me with how I would be able to do this. Most tutorials and posts refer to animation in terms of character movements and not really motion graphics.
I'm trying to figure out a workflow without using image sequences rendered out of after effects. I think that would make the game massive in size.
I am new to this and as a motion graphics artist its hard to wrap my brain around this. Any help would be amazing.
Thank you in advance.
