Is there a way to use the ThirdPersonController script to control an iOS game character?
Hi guys,
I have a prototype game that uses a Character Controller plus the ThirdPersonController script that is in the Standard Assets folder, and it controls my character perfectly. I wanted to use this script for an iOS game but cannot find a working method to get this script to work with the Single Joystick prefab in the Standard Assets (Mobile) folder.
Is it even possible to get these two to work together? Every time I try and pass the values of the Joystick script to the ThirdPersonController I get an error that the script "Joystick" is not found even though its there and everything to my knowledge is coded correctly (such as using something like:
function Update () {
otherScript = GetComponent(OtherScript);
otherScript.DoSomething();
}
and the many other variations in the Unity documentation.
Does anyone know how I may go about doing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Disclaimer: I have already done the Penelope tutorial.
same problem here. I know how to move my caracter (I don't use penelope) but my character don't activate animation... so I think that I have to translate 3rdpersoncontroller for mobile. if someone know hot to do that just tell me
