Random Text Based Game
Hey everyone, I'm slightly new to Unity, and completely new to Programming (about to take a couple courses in C# and Java, so hopefully that'll change soon), but I've got an idea for a text-based game based on random events, which themselves are based on how the player responds to the random event. I'll try to give a breakdown: There's a 'power' bar, showing how much power your character is garnering. If you garner x amount, there is a chance of 3 different pop-up events happening. Each event may have three options of how to respond, and then, depending on what response is chosen, another 3 events have a chance of occurring, and so on and so forth. Now, what sort of script would I need to make for this? I'm not asking for a step-by-step answer here, since that would be way too much to ask of anyone here. But if anyone could point me in the right direction, or at least let me know what sort of guide I should look up, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
