What happens when current scene is closing?

If I have some objects, textures etc. loaded in one scene, will they be destroyed and removed from memory in case of scene closing?

Yes all the objects will be destroyed while closing the scene untill and unless you explicitely specify that you don't want to destroy any object. DontDestroyOnLoad Reference

Note that all static data will be kept as they are static. SO if you have a static health for your player it will remain between scenes.
