Central Asset storage? Importing for offline PC??
Tired of beating my head against the wall... Setup - I have two PC's i use for Unity. One has great internet connection, and i can download/utilize assets no problem. PC 2, is much more powerful but has crappy internet, aka offline.
In Unity 5 via the assets store, I've downloaded multiple asset packages for the online PC. Is there some way to transfer those assets/packages/etc into Unity for the offline PC, so that they will show in the Assets list when creating a new project? I don't even see Standard Assets in the list when creating a new project, much less, and additional assets i'd like to use. Again, this is only an issue for my offline PC, the online one works fine...
I can manually import assets to a new project on the offline PC, but that's annoying.. certainly there's a way to make Unity see all the assets when creating a new project, even on the offline PC? ie - some "central" folder that Unity looks for, or that Unity imports global assets/packages/etc into?
I've tried adding the downloaded asset folders to the %appdata% location for Unity, etc, to no avail.
Any suggestions? Hoping I'm missing something stupidly simple... thanks in advance.
