Unity 5.4.2f1 stops responding and the next startup gives only a white screen
This is driving me crazy. Sometimes my Unity project stops responding (i get the Windows 10 loading circle) and it could go on for hours without responding.
After i end the Unity process and re-open it, all i get is a white screen. Deleting the Library folder works, but the project is over 20 Gb in size so i definitely do not want to do it all the time (the import process takes about two hours). This behaviour started two days ago and i've been getting 1-2 crashes per day.
I have automated realtime backups and i can always just delete the current one and use the other, but this is ridiculous.
Any help? We've got a release coming on the 16th of December and we're putting finishing touches to our game.

This issue was a shader compilation error and was resolved after updating the project to Unity 5.5
