NullReferenceException - UnityEditor.HostView.OnGUI
Been getting this error for the past few hours since I started unity. Really annoying as it shows up whenever I compile or start/stop the game.
Only thing I am using that messes with the editor GUI is Zios which allows custom themes. Although i've been using it for a very long time and this error just recently happened after exiting and opening unity again.
Not sure how this error could happen but here is the full error that is printing in console:
NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object UnityEditor.HostView.OnGUI () (at C:/buildslave/unity/build/Editor/Mono/HostView.cs:79)
EDIT: Can confirm this only happens in a single project, not sure what the error is but I will make a new project and move assets over. Would still be useful to know how to fix it though since it could happen again.
