Unity memory leak when using a drawing tablet?
Hi!
I've been experiencing complete freezes of the unity editor while having my Wacom Cintiq 12WX plugged in, depending on how big the project I open, it freezes faster or slower.
I've once managed to somehow let unity shut down on its own, giving me an error about unity not having enough free memory or something, however I've not managed to get that error again. I simply end it with task manager now, before it gets the chance to shut down on its own.
Unplugging the tablet fixes the issue, no more freezes at all, however I tend to forget to unplug it and its been annoying me for a while now. Anyone know anything about this?
Except a Unity bug or a conflict with driver tablet :/ No.
$$anonymous$$aybe try to report it to Unity staff but I don't know if they can help you...

I have been having the same issue here, random crashes while having my Wacom Cintiq 12WX plugged in. Sometimes it crashes on renaming a gameobject, creating/renaming folders or hitting the apply button on prefabs. And since you have to press 'Save Project' for prefab changes to get through it is very frustrating to have to do the same work over again when you're on a tight deadline.
Hope this will be fixed soon!
(P.S. using Unity 3.5.7f6, been having it since 3.5.5)
Hmm probably is some form of incompatibility then, I'm using Unity 4. $$anonymous$$y crashes don't seem to be too random tho, always crashes after a certain amount of time depending on my project size. I've pretty much made it a habit to unplug the tablet when using unity now, it's a pain, but it prevents crashing.
