How to get a brick pattern to tile appropriates to each side of a cube?
I see a number of questions about UV-mapping a cube so that different textures can be applied to each face, but my issue is far simpler: how to get each face tiled appropriately so that I can use the same texture (a brick texture) on each face.
The problem right now is that if I make a long "bar" out of a cube, there's no way that I can see to adjust the tiling for each face. If I get it right for the long face, it's "squished" on the short faces. And if I get it right on the short face, it's stretched on the long faces.
I just want it UV-mapped to look right - maybe this is as simple as Repeat instead of Clamp or Stretch? If so, I've been unable to find that.
