Animation Not Showing Key Frames
when i click record on my animation window, and move my object it doesn't place a keyframe.
why is that?
ps i did save it as an animation.
Cuz you aint doing it right? Take a screenshot or describe the workflow in a little more detail - I haven't done a manual keyframe animation in Unity forever but isn't there a red button that needs clicking to autoinsert keyframes?
it works now. unity then stopped responding, and i had to close it. but it works now.
i feel slightly stupid now. :p

I've clicked the red button and the transforms etc that I chose turn red, along with the play button.
BUT the reason I am searching here on your reply just now is bcause often times there are no kyframes auto inserting. I don't know if there's a manual way to put them in myself but when I stop, make a mod and then move to the next sample point, not a single new keyframe emerges.
Again, I have the record button pressed, and I have the red opaque turn up automatically over the play buttons AND the fields for entering my features for the ojbect.
However, the keys are not autoinserting on a consistent basis, after the initial. I don't know why or what causes it or if there's another alternative.
Annoyed by it. I'm new too, and I have looked at all the vids. Everyone gets the keys...but not on my machine. Anyone that could tell me what I've missed, I'd be honoured to discover something stupid on my part rather than start to hate it... Truly, truly. I do not lie. :)

I know this old, but you have to add a property in the animation window, hope this helps
