iPad crashes on load level

Question

iPad crashes on load level using Unity 3.1 of3 Workaround has been to load blank level before loading the next level but I'm wondering if this is a bug that is specific to a Unity version.

Are there any other solutions than the above?

I would think to just update unity to the latest version.

Update unity at: http://unity3d.com/unity/download/

Then your project will upgrade from the older version once you have updated unity.....
