Windows 10 sound alert when going back to the Editor from Visual Studio
Whenever I change my code in Visual Studio and go back to the Editor, there's a tiny loading time (recompilation I guess) and after that, I get an annoying sound alert from Windows 10 (you know, the one you get when adjusting the volume).
It's driving me crazy and whatever I type when searching for help I mostly get in-game sound related topics. I tried to use the keywords I used in my question, hopefully it'll help someone else.
Any ideas ?
I used to have something like this. It was like unity froze up for a second and the a loud sound. Every single time going from vs to unity after saving. I have no idea what solved it, but pretty sure that I've reinstalled both unity and visual studio since then. And I also manually recompile nowadays. I go back and forth a lot with small changes, and my computer is quite slow, so I figured it was better to decide myself when I wanted to recompile. So that might be an option for you.
