UI working fine in editor but glitched in standalone builds
Hello I have been trying to add a main menu to my game recently and i did it or so i thought the menu works fine in the editor but once i export it to any platform Windows,mac,android it doesn't matter it glitches all my gui stuff turns ping as-if it didn't have a material does ui/gui(canvas,text,etc) require materials? every time i added a material the text screws up so what do i do here are some pics of how its supposed to be and how it is when i export it

I have exact same issue with version 5.5.0f3. Only in my project. Don't know what to do.
We had this same problem and it turned out to be a problem with the included shaders for the build.
Go to Edit->Project Settings->Graphics and look under the "Always included shaders" entry. If the shaders "UI/Default" and "UI/Default Font" aren't included then add them and try your build again.
Alternately you could delete the GraphicsSettings.asset file under ProjectSettings but this will nuke any other options you've already set.
