How to get rid of holes in terrain?
How do I fix vertical terrain from being nothing but a huge hole in the wall?
Terrain is not solid, it's just a surface. It looks like you put the fox under the surface in the second image. In the first image with the fox half way into the wall, is that happening during game play or did you explicitly position the fox there?

Terrain is only visible from one side due to back face culling. If you look at a terrain from below it will be invisible. You can see a mountain from the outside, but if you put the camera inside a mountain like you did then the walls will disappear.
i'm not talking about the camera. the first picture is my character jumping through the terrain and the 2nd picture is my character falling through the terrain. character should not be able to jump through the terrain in the first place for camera to reach that point of seeing underneath.
yes the 2nd pictures shows a hole, but the first picture shows character jumping through what can only be described as a massive hole even though you cant see it. why even bother trying to make mountains or steep terrain that is intended to prevent the character from going beyond or up it, if you can jump straight through it.
