Finished watching video tutorials, some questions.
So I finished watching the video tutorials. First, I am pretty much amazed that you can edit the assets in 3dmax, photoshop, and game engine will render the change. The UI also appears quite intuitive.
Obviously, buying assets from the store costs a lot of money. How do you go about creating them? I am interested in game asset creation.
Is there anything easier to use than blender? I used it in 2003 and it was really tough.
Unity seems really exciting stuff! It sort of reminds me of WildTangent during early 2000. but unfortunately, the WT plugin never took off, could the same fate happen to Unity web plugin? I hope not.

You create assets in other apps, such as the ones you mention. Blender has changed a lot since 2003; take another look at the latest version. The Unity web player has taken off and continues to do so, as it's used by many sites, probably thousands by now.

There are also some great video tutorials at www.unity3dstudent.com You can also package pre-fabs as complete Unity ready game assets and sell those too.
Easier then blender? I dont know, but the moddeling of simple things is not that hard in 3Ds max, i dont know what u want to create. A closet can be made in 10 $$anonymous$$utes. A car however takes way longer. So what do u need?
