Why do I keep getting the option to download Unity Web Player when I've already installed it?
I'm trying to load my Unity index file into a div element within my website. However, when I do, I keep getting the missing & broken links which prompt the user to download and install Unity Player.
However, when I open the index file directly, inside its own window, the player actually runs and I don't get the prompt to download Unity Player. I'm testing this in both Firefox and IE. Can anyone tell me why this would be happening and how I go about fixing it?
For reference, here's the code I'm using on my site to load the index file.
JS
var spaceShooterGame = document.getElementById("spaceShooterGame");
$.get("games/SpaceShooter/index.html", function(data){
spaceShooterGame.innerHTML = data;
console.log(data);
})
HTML
<div id="spaceShooterGame" class="popup"></div>
