In Mechanim, a symmetrical Animation is weighting animation to the left
Hey folks,
I've got a character and I'm doing a few simple animation tests to test the maya to unity pipeline. When I apply an animation from maya to the character in Unity, the character always favors the left side more than the right, making the animation not symmetrical.

in Maya, the characters antlers rotate perfectly symmetrically, touch the red line
In Unity the antlers rotate farther to left, past the line.
This is the same with the eyes rotating, etc. basically everything goes farther on the left.
Even the TIMING seems more weighted to the left.
Why is this happening? I've looked into my rig settings in Unity, everything looks good. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. thanks!
