Can I have an Invisible Mesh which renders lighting and shadows as if it were not invisible?
I am handdrawing an fps gun that will be billboarded and animated to the player, i am tracing it from a 3d model i created as a guideline. I was wondering if I can have the mesh in the game as well, but invisible save for its lighting and shadows so they can make the 2d drawn gun appear shaded and lit in accordance with the scene?
