Unity3D with Netty or SCS

My colleague and I want to make a card game that will be played online with other players. We need database and server which will handle lobby and match rooms. We need dedicated server because there are some cron jobs that needs to be run periodically and for creating AI Players. So we have found Netty (Java) and SCS (C#) frameworks. So did anyone had experience with Netty or SCS on server side and using System.Net.Sockets in Unity 5.x. We are mainly targeting Android devices... so before we start developing using Netty or SCS I would like to hear if this will work fine or if you have some other suggestions.... I did implemented Netty server found in their documentation and Unity3D client that was run on my Android phone and worked, but I am not sure if this is right choice to go....
