Automatic Match Joining for Networked Games
In my game I am currently using Unity's [super easy and helpful] matchmaking service. I really like how easy it is to create and join a lobby, and then start a game once all the players are ready. However, I was wondering if there was a way for me to simply show the player a loading screen and have my program join a match if one exists, or create one otherwise. Does anyone have a [preferably easy] way to do this?
Right now, I am using a NetworkLobbyManager, as well as the NetworkManagerHUD, so that people can just click 'enable matchmaker and then either 'Find internet match' or 'create internet match', and then join the right one and click start. How difficult would it be to make this all go on without the user having to do anything, and just printing what the computer is doing to the screen? What am I looking for here?
Thanks for all the help in advance!
