3D Object is moving too much in 3D vision, what is the problem?,My 3D object is moving too much in 3D vision, what is the problem?
Hello everyone, I'm currently using Unity 2017 for my thesis work and I have a problem with 3D vision. Basically I created a scene in Unity with two cameras mimicking the human eyes, those camera's frusta converge on a screen with a fixed scale, this screen is the equivalent of an LG 42 inches Screen with 3D vision. The cameras get their position from a Kinect360 v1 that takes a subject's eyes position in front of the LG screen. When the cameras move, their frustum's convergence adapts to the movement becoming asymmetrical, this way perception should be improved and cyber sickness lowered. Everything works fine until I connect my pc to the LG screen via HDMI and set it to 3D vision. There's a cube in the scene 80cm from the screen towards the subject the whom is meant to "touch" it, but the 3D simply does not work correctly. Watching the scene with 3D glasses while the cube does come out of the screen it is definitely not 80cm from it and when the subject moves a bit in the space the cube moves way too much making the touching trial impossibile or wrong. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this? Please tell me if you need further detail on the project and thank you very much.
