Question by egiroux · Dec 10, 2015 at 02:22 PM · physics2dcollision2d

The collider doesn't seem to move with the object, using AddForce to move.

Collision is only detected on the first frame. when my spaceship moves, it never detects collisions again.

My spaceship has a circle collider2d, a rigidbody.

StarCommand has a circle collider2d, no rigidbody and has IsTrigger enabled

Planet has a circle collider2d, no rigidbody and has IsTrigger enabled.

When I press pause, I see that the collider has moved with the object.

Using the arrows to move the object manually inside triggers will make sure OnTriggerEnter2D is called when the game resumes. If I move the ship away using game mechanics, and back into the static triggers, no collision occurs.

I recently updated to 5.3, it was working before.

Please help :(

Clarifications:

1)Spaceship is the moving object and is what i'm moving around manually inside the command and planet colliders to test.

2) Using transform.translate type movement triggers the collisions every time, which leads me to believe I'm doing something wrong around the movement with AddForce
